The Blower’s Daughter, it’s a song that’s very personal to me, every time I hear it, it speaks to me, I’m not too sure what it says but it wraps me in its tones and subtleties, and whisks me away for the time it plays. For a while after I bought O, I thought The Blowers Daughter and Cannonball were just the one song, so smoothly they flow together.

Just saw Closer and the Blower’s Daughter is the main song, at the start and end of the film and I didn’t like it out there in the world, it was my song, it’s part of my life in Dublin, it shouldn’t be in films…..

And as for choosing between Natalie Portman and Julia Roberts, who would choose Julia over the very beautiful Natalie – craziness!
